Marooned

Marooned (2013) Unity 3.x for Qualcomm Mobile

This demo was shown at every mobile conference in the world. 

 

The vignette of an astronaut and his small robot companion crash-landed on an alien planet demonstrated:

  • Dynamic shadows

  • Multiple dynamic lights

  • Dynamic particles

  • Console style normal map shaders

  • and many more features of OpenGL ES 3.0 on a mobile device.


This scene ran at nearly 60 FPS on the device, but was clamped to 30 FPS to maintain a smooth consistent look.
